Small diner. I heard they had good food from other friends and tried it out one night. I took a few friends visiting from out of town for late night breakfast food and two of us ended up with possible food poisoning. enough said.

Chatty staff and plenty of locals make this greasy spoon a true delight. Open late night or early morning to serve those with cravings for a hot griddle meal.

We were lucky enough to be told of this place by a local. Went late on a Sunday night. Staff extremely friendly! I had the meat-o-rama, which had some zing from the "bacon jam". Very good! My hubby had the hamburger steak and my niece had the French toast. We were all very full and pleased :)

Food was good had a grilled chicken sandwich surprising not dry very moist and juicy. Coworker ordered the grilled chicken Cobb salad once again good choice.

Get the meat-o-rama on a hoagie for breakfast. Not on the menu but it's a local staple. You won't be disappointed.

My favorite place for coffee. The food is great. It is your typical diner food, but the owner always has "special" items, that are not typical. Forget spending $5 for a cup of coffee. Benson's coffee is so much better. Great staff! They remember you. Treat you like a regular even when your not.

Me and my family came to Arkansas from Texas visiting other family. We've come to Benson's twice already for the G.O.T.cha!! Breakfast amazing! It's a nice little diner with homecooking and very nice staff. Reasonably priced also.

It was about 4am and the restaurant was officially over run. I take that as a sign of good food. The jute box was blaring. It was like I felt the vibrations more than I heard them. The waitress said there was about a thirty minute wait on food. I liked being informed and since I wasn't in a hurry I waited. I tried the wifi but never got connected. Many of the other costumers seemed to have come from bars around town. That doesn't bother me but might be worth mentioning. When the jute box finally cut off I was glad. I was getting a headache. The meal came in about twenty minutes. The bacon cheese burger was good but the long strips of bacon extended well beyond the bun. I had to attend to that. The chilly cheese fries were fantastic. That and a drink was just over eleven dollars. I couldn't finish it all. The chilly cheese fries were a meal by themselves. Most other patrons seemed to be ordering breakfast. I will have to investigate those dishin the future.I would have given a much higher rating if it wasn't for the jute box.

This is the best greasy spoon that I have ever been to. The coffee is good, food is good, and you get a ton of it. My favorite sandwich is the Philly and they do a fantastic job of it. The fried sampler is amazing. Unfortunately, I live in Dallas, Texas. Such a shame. I want to take it with me.

Great food any time of day! Not to mention the exceptional customer service that comes with it! The prices are fair and not overly priced by any means.

The service for this place gets 5 stars. I work late shifts and this place is sometimes the only place open in my immediate neighborhood when I get off work. No matter what time of day or night, the staff is great. The food is basically greasy spoon diner food. Good food when it's what you're in the mood for, but it's still diner food. I will say it's leaps and bounds above Waffle House. I debated between 3 and 4 stars, and decided on 4 based on the service and the fact that they serve pretty big portions for the low price. I enjoy the nachos, chili cheese fries, or philly cheese steak sandwich. If you're feeling breakfast food, I hear the omelets are quite good.

I loved this small diner. It is also really cool how you can see everything as well... You can watch them cook it, the waitress get people's drinks. Some people dont like that. As for my rating of the food... I had a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich. AMAZING. The only one better I have had was at Iron Horse BBQ is Paragould (check out that review). This is my second favorite! I will definately be back here. The place is kept clean as well. Very professional in a VERY southern way, and that is good for an Arkansas girl.

Classic 24 hour American diner in Fort Smith Arkansas. Food is great. Decaf coffee is uber weak almost water, everything else was great. But the decaf was fresh and hot and as it was raining so hard that there were cars stalled because of flash flooding right on US-64 we did not care. Very happy to work with Gluten Free request. Will be back.

Used to come here a lot when I lived in town close by. Still a great little breakfast place. I am a little disappointed that they no longer have waffles. Not only were they great waffles, but they are the only place I know of that the waffle irons imprint a Razorback onto the waffle.

The food, prices, and service are simply put here...Good. If you miss the feel of an old time cafe where the locals meet and talk about the current events, and still have great biscuits and gravy then this is the place. You always feel welcome, and every trip from California this is where I have my breakfast. Special mention to Brandon. Was great to meet you. The place is in downtown Ft. Smith, and right next to Northside High School. And I did have dinner here this time, but I prefer the mornings there.
